December 20: Did you know: every two seconds, someone in the United States is in need of donated blood. Today, the #LMCUSantaSquad had Michigan Blood set-up shop in our corporate offices so our employees could help fulfill blood donation needs of hospitals around the state. We had 43 donors provide 32 pints of blood which equals 96 lives saved!
December 19: Today, members of the #LMCUSantaSquad visited Gilda's Club Lowellto lend a hand with tonight's dinner service. The team made and served a home-cooked meal for all of this evening's visitors to enjoy.
December 18: To kick off the last week of #LMCUSantaSquad 2017, we teamed up with the Grand Rapids Student Advancement Foundation and headed to Grand Rapids Public Schools Cesar Chavez and Buchanan Elementary schools with a truckload of toys in tow – over 1,000 in total! There was no shortage of excitement among the students as we delivered our holiday surprise 
December 17: This year, the #LMCUSantaSquad sponsored Shop with a Cop in partnership with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. Our team had fun spending the evening with participating officers and kids!
December 16: Today, our #LMCUSantaSquad stopped at Celebration! Cinema North and IMAX to visit some movie-goers at one of the first showings of Ferdinand. Movie tickets were gifted to every viewer in the theater on behalf of LMCU.
December 15: This afternoon, the #LMCUSantaSquad brought some sweet surprises from our friends at Stir It Up bakery to downtown Grand Rapids. To make it even better, high-fives were the only currency we accepted for the tasty treats!
December 14: We brought our holiday cheer back to our Florida service areas today, where #LMCUSantaSquad members packed 1,800 meals for Meals of Hope.
December 13: Today, LMCU employees decorated bags for Kids' Food Basket. In exchange, LMCU staff received free breakfast. #LMCUSantaSquad. We collected 301 bags and over 50 boxes of food and supplies from their wish list. 
December 12: #LMCUSantaSquad members from our Florida branches took part in Stockings for Kids this year, an organization that provides holiday stockings for the children of more than 2,000 families. Along with a $1,500 donation from LMCU, our volunteers lent a hand stuffing the stockings so they'd be ready in time for Christmas.
December 11: Who doesn't like a free cup of joe on a cold Monday morning? The #LMCUSantaSquad headed to JP’s Coffee in Holland earlier today to spread some of our LMCU cheer to their customers!
December 9: Did you stop by to see the #LMCUSantaSquad at Millennium Park this evening? We had so much fun surprising opening night customers with free ice skating on behalf of LMCU! 
December 8: Closing day is a big deal for new homeowners, so today, the #LMCUSantaSquad visited Traverse City with some housewarming gifts in tow including (4) $100 Home Depot giftcards and treats. 
December 7: Volunteers from Disability Advocates of Kent County spend an average of $4000 per year on Go!Bus tickets to get them to and from the organization. Today's goal for #LMCUSantaSquad 2017 was to help alleviate that burden. We purchased 200 tickets for those individuals who assist the organization in accomplishing their mission.
December 6: Over 100 #LMCUSantaSquad volunteers dedicated their afternoon to a day of service at 11 nonprofits in Grand Rapids. They performed tasks from preparing meals for Meals on Wheels, preparing the Christmas store at Mel Trotter Ministries, building a wheelchair ramp at Gilda's Club and so much more. 
December 5: Today, our #LMCUSantaSquad team members in Livonia partnered with @Operation Good Cheer to provide presents for 18 children currently in foster care. Now in its 46th year, Operation Good Cheer provides thousands of presents annually to children throughout Michigan who might otherwise not receive anything.
December 4: This year, the #LMCUSantaSquad was able to make a wish come true! Manuel, a 9-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis, dreamed of going to Walt Disney World. Earlier this year, we partnered with Make-A-Wish Michigan to turn that dream into a reality. But on the day of his flight, we had a few more surprises waiting for him. Manuel received the VIP treatment and was picked up in a limo, greeted by LMCU team members, and escorted by airport police wearing Mickey Mouse ears! 
December 2: Today for #LMCUSantaSquad, we brought a holiday surprise to some families searching for the perfect pine. Our team visited Christmas tree shoppers at the Whippi Dip in Norton Shores and paid for 13 families trees, garland, and even a tree stand!
December 1: We kicked off day one of #LMCUSantaSquad 2017 with a game of Giving Bingo! Every LMCU employee received the bingo card, challenging them to complete simple acts of kindness for those around them. Five submissions will be chosen at random and awarded $100 donations towards the non-profit of their choice.
